Case Study 2: Redesigning variable incentive program for a global commercial bank to support an integrated goal-setting approach

Situation: Global commercial banking client required a major redesign of its variable incentive program for its sales, credit and services workforce, with over $4B in annual revenues in order to support an "optimal goal-setting" methodology.

What We Did: Led successful redesign, integration and implementation of the bank’s annual variable incentive plan across 2 legacy organizations covering over 4,000 employees across the sales, credit and service support groups.

Key Outcomes: Created an integrated incentive design framework that rewarded participants for achieving “optimum” production mix. Developed post-implementation monitoring and evaluation of incentive design framework. Managed the program management office and delivered all manger and employee training and tools to support the design rollout.
